Tormek is fully focused on sharpening. All the product development, engineering work and production are made in Sweden. The company is located in Lindesberg, a small town in the heart of Bergslagen with a history in mining. The production is carried out in close cooperation with selected suppliers, all specialized and the best in their fields. This ensures the highest quality and a continuous access to the best and most modern manufacturing technology.
It depends how often you sharpen, more frequent and semi to professional than I suggest you the T-8.
Do you sharpen your knives just here and there the T-4 is absolut sufficient.
Generally the question is difficult to answer, as you by a machine only once in your lifetime and maybe the demand is increasing. then the T-8 may be again an option and cheaper on the long run.
