Recently bought T-1

Just bought tormek t-1 and started it up. Feels like its running uneven. Like voom-voom-voom is it supposed to sound like that. Also have a small vibration with that sound.

  • Hi Jimmy. The thump you hear when you start the machine it is probably an imprint from the motor shaft on the rubber friction ring. This will go away when you use the machine.
    If the machine is not used for a long time the motor shaft can leave a small imprint on the rubber wheel. This is nothing to worry about and will disappear after 5-10 min of use.
