Original electric cable is short
Will warranty be void if I replace the original AC cable with a longer one ? I have the necessary competence to replace it myself.

Our machines are approved against the LVD directive 2014/35/EU. That includes all electrical parts on the machine including the cord and plug. If any part is altered or replaced with a non-certified component, we cannot no longer warranty any part that is related to the electrical safety protocol. And if a fire starts and the machine is altered your home insurance may not cover the damage.
I strongly recommend leaving the machine as it is and use an extension cord instead.
