direction of rotation appears to be wrong
i recently purchased a Tormek T8 and was looking forward to saving myself considerable aggravation sharpening the many planes and chisels i have. Out of the box, it would appear that the direction of rotation is incorrect as it is rotating toward me when configured with the support bar closest to me and the wheel is on the left hand side. in all the videos and such, it rotates in the opposite direction so that you are grinding away from the blade. mine is set to grind toward the blade... any easy fix for this?

If you have the grinding wheel to the left it should rotate towards you. We recommend you to sharpen your chisels and planes towards the stone. So everything is correct with the machine.
