Correct wheel for planer jig
Hi I have a tormek 2000 and am contemplating buying the planer jig to tackle my 24inch planer blades. I realise it will take too long on my standard stone and wonder if the black silicone stone or the coarse 80 grit CBN wheel would be better? Thanks

If your planer blades are made of HSS, you will get faster results with the SB-250 Blackstone Silicon https://tormek.com/en/products/grinding-wheels/blackstone-silicon and also our DC-250 Diamond Wheel Coarse. https://tormek.com/en/products/grinding-wheels/diamond-grinding-wheels/dc-250-diamond-wheel-coarse I don't know anything about the CBN wheel as it is not available in our range.
