Which sharpening stone to choose?
I am looking to buy a Tormek, and wonder if I should go with a standard machine with the SG sharpening stones, og a custom with the SB or a diamond stone. I will be using it almost exclusively for sharpening chisels and hand plane blades (Rockwell 58-63). Occasionally a few kitchen knives would be sharpened as well.

Based on the tools you are going to sharpen, I recommend the T-8 Original with the SG-250 stone for you. It also comes with the SE-77 Square Edge Jig that you need for your chisels and hand plane blades.
