The grinding wheel stops even when only a little pressure is applied

I have a T7 I purchased in 2014 and I am very happy with it. Recently, and under a mild tool pressure, the turning of the stone stops.
Any suggestion to remedy the problem?

Thank you for your question.
If the stone stops when you put some pressure on it, there is probably oil, water or dust on the drive wheel.
You can easily remove this.
