    we are adding markets step by step but have not set a timing for Australia yet. So we can´t really answer that question at the moment.

  • This was 10th of July 2023. What about now? The Tormek T-2 Pro Kitchen Knife Sharpener is already available but all the australian distributors don’t offer the Toremk T-1. Why?

  • The Tormek T-2 Pro Kitchen Knife Sharpener is available in Australia. You can find all resellers for the machine on our webpage: https://tormek.com/en/products/sharpening-machines/tormek-t-2-pro-kitchen-knife-sharpener
    We do not have any plans for a launch of the Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener in Australia at the moment. We will inform our customers about new markets via Social Media and the newsletter.

  • I have been looking everywhere for the T1 in Australia for fathers day gifting. Stumbled upon this thread which explains why I cant. It is evident the market for the home chef in Australia would serve Tormek well. I hope they consider it soon!

    As per Davids post on 14 August, is it possible to buy the T1 online and have it shipped to Australia?
    Samin Nosrat has just talked it up on the NYT Wirecutter podcast and I would imagine a lot of Australians will want it after that.

    The T2 is available here but its a much bigger unit and no appropriate for a home cook in a small kitchen.

    It seems you are in the enviable position of people desperate for your product so if would be awesome if you could provide a solution and a timeframe.
