Tormek is fully focused on sharpening. All the product development, engineering work and production are made in Sweden. The company is located in Lindesberg, a small town in the heart of Bergslagen with a history in mining. The production is carried out in close cooperation with selected suppliers, all specialized and the best in their fields. This ensures the highest quality and a continuous access to the best and most modern manufacturing technology.
We only have one type of bearing that fits all of our machines.
The new main bearings are black instead of white and have a rotation stop.
On the older machines, you may need to file a notch in the housing or remove the rotation stop on the bearing. But size‑wise, they have always been the same.
