SVG-320 vs MAKITA 793346-8
Dear Tormek's expert,
Is it possible use jig SVG-320 for MAKITA 793346-8 blades used on my Makita 2012NB planer?
In your PR videos you use wider blades. These (793346-8) are very narrow. I would like slightly repair their eges.
In addition, they are made of HSS steel. Some other blades for smaller hand planer are made of HM steel. (like MAKITA D-07945 for example).
Can I use generic Tormek's SG wheel for sharpening HM steel tools?
thank you!

These blades are very narrow and habe a bevels on both sides and can't clamped save as they are soo narrow that you can't reach the bevel without touching the SVH-320 on the stones surface.
The Tormek SG-Original Sharpening stone can handle upp to HRC 70, just remember the harder the steel the longer it will take to remove material. For harder Steels a Diamond Wheel is a good alternative.
