Color changes Original Stone SG-250
Hey,
when I see your videos, I always see a very clean stone (SG250) without any spots and irregular color regions.
My stone (SG250) has different colors (let's say green, brown...) on the surface area after a short time of use. At the side as far as the stone reaches in the water. Is this normal or should I do anything in a different way?
I am sharpening knives and Gauges.

Thank you for your question. The stones we us are often quite new and therfore cleaner than the avarage stone out there. Often what discolores the stones are metalparticals from the tools that rust and gives the stone a reddish color. You can true the stone with the Truing tool TT-50 to remove the outer layer of the surface and that way also the miscoloration. Also using our Anti rust concentrate ACC-150 with stones as well give them protection from discoloring.
