Page 154 of manual- SJ250 paragraph .

My manual says the surface left by the SJ stone is so fine the tool should not be honed on the leather honing wheel, but I have seen a Tormek sharpening video that one should hone after use of the SJ wheel. Can you please clarify what is recommended on a knife after using my SJ wheel?

    We're right now in progress to update the handbook.
    Right is, some steels create even on the SJ Japanese Waterstone a very fine burr. It is of advantage to remove it carefully on the leather honing wheel, your cutting result will profit from it.
