  • Hi Andre.
Normally an oval hole makes the stone jump upp and down.
The side-to-side movement comes from misalignment between the inside washer and the stone.
When you mount the stone, try to push as close to the center as possible to get the stone to sit flat against the inside washer.

There is no easy way to make an insert or bushing.

An easier way to lessen the effect of large hole diameter is to make a "mount up position" and true the stone with TT-50. Then it will always run true if you mount the stone in the same position regardless of the hole diameter.
One way to do this is to mount the stone with the label horisontal. Lock it and true it with the truing tool TT-50. Then if you loosen the stone, you can always get back to zero if you mount the stone with the label horizontal.
    Regards.
