Leather?
I own a blue Tormek sharpening machine, probably from the 1990s. The exact name is "SuperGrind I200." On one side is the SuperGrind whetstone, and on the other side is a black honing wheel. Unfortunately, I can't identify it. It has no imprint or recognizable surface, so I'm not sure if it's a very worn LA-145. Can you help me with this? Is it possible that this isn't a leather honing wheel? What type of knife is it suitable for?

You have the older S-1200 machine, which is the predecessor to the new T-4.
Both machines use the same honing wheel: LA-145.
In the early '90s, we used black-colored leather, which is why it looks a bit different.
So, if you need a new honing wheel for your S-1200, it is the LA-145.
Have a nice day!
