Installation of grinding stone on Tormek T-8
It appears I am supposed to leave the washer on, then the stone, then the nut; however, there is no room to put the nut on when the washer is left on; not enough threads are exposed to start the nut, and yes, I know, it is left hand threaded
If the washer is removed, then the stone grinds against the small metal pin on the inside
I assume I am supposed to remove the washer

It seems that the mainshaft is not all the way through the machine. Ther is enough space for the nut.
Wen you get the machine you just remove the withe sleeve from the shaft, place the stone on the shaft and then the nut. The sleeve has 50 mm as the stone. The sleeve keeps the main shaft in position during transport.
