Honing with SVD 186.
I'm a bit confuse. I'm sharpening gouges with SVD 186. Works great. But what if I want to use the tool for honing. As the honing disk is much smaller, is there a conversion tip to find the right positioning of the gouge so honing angles match those I have on the grinding wheel?

Are you using the Turning Tool Setter TTS-100 to set the angle then you can also use it to set the right angle on the honing wheel. https://tormek.com/en/products/accessories/tts-100-turning-tool-setter
Otherwise you can use the color method to find the right angle on the honing wheel.
