Does tormek T4 or T8 could be use to sharp japanese swords ?
I'm wondering if it could be interesting to buy tormek system to sharp and polish long curving blade (around 75 cm).
In case, how to do it and what kind of support could be used ?
Do you recommend to use default grinding wheel 200-1000 ?

I've done it preferably on a T-8 due the 1 cm more width oft the sharpening wheel..
I used also the extended Universal-support US-430 and two KJ-45.
Depending of the steel, the SG-250 should be enough, going to the grid of 1000 with the Stonegrader SP-650 and then to get a shiny bevel a finish on the SJ-250 Japanese Waterstone with a grid of 4000. If the steel is extremely hard, I would use a Diamond Wheel DF-250 and then the DE-250, polishing on the CW-220 Composit Honing Wheel.
stay sharp!
