Diamond Wheel of Tormek T-1 does not sharpen anymore / seems dirty
After sharpening a few knives on the Tormek T-1 the diamond wheel does not seem to work properly. The surface seems to be worn down or damaged somehow?
I did not sharpen that many knives so I wonder what is wrong.

There is nothing wrong with your diamond wheel, you need to clean it.
The diamond grinding wheel can be cleaned with acetone if it is clogged with glue residue from the Knife Protection Pads, or other dirt.
Apply acetone to a cloth and hold it against the grinding wheel while it rotates. This may need to be repeated a number of times to get the grinding wheel completely clean.
An eraser can also be held against the grinding wheel, pulling the last remnants of dirt out of the diamond-coated surface in order to restore the shine of the grinding wheel.
