Ceramic sharpeners

My current horl offers various ceramic ( 1000 / 6000 and KAGAMI – ULTRAFEIN ) sharpen tools. Tormek has only a diamond sharpener. Can I really sharpen my Kai Shoun Damast Knife’s to the same sharpness ?

    The Tormek T-1 Kitchen Knife Sharpener is equipped with a fine grained diamond wheel. As diamond is the strongest abrasive this allows you to sharpen any material. So yes, you can also sharpen your damast knives, even ceramic knives. Very important when sharpening on diamond grinding wheels: sharpen without pressure, let the diamonds do the work.
