Can you rewire a T-8 from Swedish El. to USA?

I am thinking about taking my T-8 to the US. Obviously one must change the plug etc... can you guys do that? How?

Hi Daniel.
It's not just the plug. You have to replace the motor, main switch and cord set to do the conversion from 230 to 115V. The main switches has a coil in them that are voltage dependent. You cannot run a 230V main switch on 115V, it will not stay on.
